Share your digital business cards with your employees to form connections and establish your brand.

Once you are done creating digital business cards for your employees, it is time to share them with your employees. Traditionally, you would have to print QR Codes on paper cards, and the people have to scan them to view the Digital Business Cards. But Beaconstac provides multiple ways to distribute the cards with your people digitally. With the introduction of wallet passes, you do not need to print or worry about the distribution of printed business cards since you can simply use wallet pass a digital medium. You can either distribute them manually with individuals or automate the process to distribute them to various people at once.

Prerequisites

  • Beaconstac Digital Business Cards Solo plan or above.


Info: To integrate Microsoft Azure Active Directory with your Beaconstac account, you must be under the Business plan with admin privileges.


Manually distribute digital business cards with your employees via Wallet Passes

  1. Sign in to your Beaconstac account.

  2. Once done, in the information section that appears on the right, you can click either Apple Wallet pass, or Google Wallet pass to distribute your cards via your preferred Wallet pass by doing the following:

    • To share via Apple Wallet Pass:

      • Click Apple Wallet Pass. You can view the preview of the wallet pass on the left side.

      • Choose the Background colour and Text colour.

      • To get the card via wallet pass, you can scan the QR code, copy the URL displayed, or send the wallet pass via the owner’s email displayed by clicking Send. Once the email is received, you can scan or copy the URL to obtain the Wallet pass.

    • To share via Google Wallet Pass:

      • Click Google Wallet Pass. You can view the preview of the wallet pass on the left side.

      • Choose the Background colour.

      • To get the card via wallet pass, you can scan the QR code, copy the URL displayed, or send the wallet pass via the owner’s email displayed by clicking Send. Once the email is received, you can scan or copy the URL to obtain the Wallet pass.

  3. Once the Wallet pass is obtained, the QR code displayed in the Wallet pass should be scanned to get the card.


Note: The digital business cards can only be distributed via Wallet pass or QR code and cannot be directly sent or downloaded.


Distribute digital business cards with your employees in bulk

Bulk share Wallet Pass

  1. Sign in to your Beaconstac account.

  2. Click Cards from the drop-down in the top-left.

  3. Expand Digital Business Cards, then click My Cards.

  4. You can distribute the Wallet pass by doing one of the following:

    1. If you want to distribute only selected cards, select the digital business cards that you want to distribute, then click Share Wallet pass in the top right.

    2. If you want to distribute all the cards, select all cards, then click Share Wallet Pass in the top-right.

All the selected cards will be sent as Wallet passes to the registered email address. Follow the instructions in the email to obtain and share the cards.

Bulk download QR Codes

  1. Sign in to your Beaconstac account.

  2. Click Cards from the drop-down in the top-left.

  3. Expand Digital Business Cards, then click My Cards.

  4. Click Download QR Codes.

  5. Choose the Field type, Size, and Error correction level, then click Download.

The QR Codes will be downloaded in .zip format. Extract the file to view and scan the QR Codes to obtain the digital business cards.


Note: The selection of the cards will be disappeared once you go to the next page. So, share the cards you selected on the current page before moving to the next page.


Automatic creation and distribution of cards using Azure Active Directory and Beaconstac integration

If you want to create and distribute cards for all your employees at an instance simultaneously, you can integrate your Beaconstac account with your organization’s Microsoft Azure Active Directory account. This will allow the seamless creation and distribution of cards for all your employees.
