QR Codes enable you to share information with an audience quickly and seamlessly. However, ordinary QR Codes are not secure enough to share sensitive information with a closed group of individuals. For such cases, we’ve created password-protected QR Codes.

On being scanned, these QR Codes prompt the user to input a pre-defined password to view the information it is linked to. This ensures that only individuals with your password can access the information your QR Code holds.

How to create a password-protected QR Code

Select the type of QR Code you wish to create and enter the relevant details.

  • Once you’ve entered the customization screen, scroll down to the bottom and select ‘Show advanced settings’.

  • Toggle the switch under 'Password Protection' and enter a password of your choice. Note that the password must be at least six characters long.
