QR Codes enable you to share information with an audience quickly and seamlessly. However, ordinary QR Codes are not secure enough to share sensitive information with a closed group of individuals. For such cases, we’ve created password-protected QR Codes.

On being scanned, these QR Codes prompt the user to input a pre-defined password to view the information it is linked to. This ensures that only individuals that have your password have access to the information that your QR Code holds.

How to create a password-protected QR Code

Select the type of QR Code you wish to create and enter the relevant details.

  • Once you’ve entered the customization screen, scroll down to the bottom and select ‘Show advanced settings’.

  • Toggle the switch under 'Password Protection' and enter a password of your choice. Note that the password must be at least six characters long.
