Beaconstac enables you to create QR Code based forms to interact with users and collect responses.

They can be used for surveys, collecting customer feedback on products or events, collecting leads and so much more.

Here's how it works:

Creating a QR Code based form on Beaconstac

Step 1: Select Form QR Code

To get started, log in to the dashboard and head over to the QR Code section.

Select 'Create QR Code' and select 'Forms'.

Step 2: Select your form template

If you have already created forms on Beaconstac, you will be able to choose from them using a dropdown menu. If you still wish to create a new form, select 'Create new form'.

On the page that appears, you can pick from several pre-defined form templates, or create your own from scratch. For the purpose of this tutorial, we will create a new form from scratch.

Step 3: Setup the form

It's time to start creating your form.

The form editor is split into 5 sections:

  • Questions - This is where you define the questions that will appear in your form. You can choose to have different kinds of responses - simple text-based responses, multiple-choice options, yes or no questions, rating systems, dropdown menus and so much more.

You can also define certain questions as required, forcing users to answer those questions to progress further into the form.

  • Welcome screen - This section allows you to customize the start screen of your form. Enter a title, share a quick message and give the user instructions before they start answering your questions. This is vital to ensuring a good form experience.

  • Thankyou screen - This section allows you to customize the screen that users see after they have answered all your questions. This is a great place for adding a Call To Action. You can also enable the social sharing option to help your form spread further.

  • Logic jumps - The logic jump section enables you to create a pathway for users to follow based on their responses. You can redirect users to specific questions based on their responses, or skip them directly to the Thankyou screen.

  • Calculator - Use the calculator to track the score of each user based on their responses. This is ideal for form-based quizzes.

You can further customize the form with the design section and change the theme and layout of the form.

You can also set the default language, add a Facebook pixel ID or Google Adwords ID for retargetting and enable email notifications to notify you or the respondent when the form is filled.

Once you've finished creating your form, click 'Save' under the preview screen.

You will be redirected back to the 'Setup' window where you can pick your new form using the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Customize the QR Code

Now that you've setup your form, it's time to customize the QR Code. You can edit the pattern, the frame, the eyes and the color of the QR Code in a matter of minutes.
